The Socket Weld Gate Valve is a resilient-seated gate valve with non-rising stem and socket-weld ends, designed for direct welded connection into the pipeline without flange sets — a compact and leak-tight solution where installation space is limited and joint reliability is critical. Like the rest of our gate valve series, it is primarily used in water supply and sewage systems: it controls the flow of water, prevents water loss, distributes the water supply and isolates pipeline sections for maintenance. The wedge is fully encapsulated with EPDM for a tight seal and low operating torque, and the fusion-bonded epoxy coating (≥ 250 µm, inside and outside) protects the valve in buried and submerged installations.
